Introducing the new Dragonfly 25 We are very proud, finally to be able to present the final image of our New Dragonfly 25.

Both versions will have the same offcenter Kickup centerboard in the mainhull, to create more space inside the boat and the centerboard casing is hidden inside and under the port sofa seat in the center cabin. Both rudder systems will also be able to kickup.

The standardboat will have a 10.50 m Aluminium rotating mast and the Sport version will have a 11.80 m rotating Carbon mast.

Baseprice for the standard boat incl. Mainsail and selftacking Jib and 5 Hp. Outboard is 69.900,- Euro ex Vat ab Yard Denmark. Regarding the Sport version we do still not have a baseprice for this version, as this is a more complex boat and all details are not finalized yet. The sail design is still in the design fase, so therefore we also cannot yet inform the size of the sails for either models.

The floatdesign is in a total new design and construction, still asymmetric shapes to get better hydrodynamic lift and also to get more buoyancy in the right place. The floats are in new and better hydrodynamic design, so the floats will be more fun to push harder and will have better waterflow. The floats will have 160% volume, and will be the highest volume floats we have yet ever made in our designs. This means the boat can actually easy fly the centerhull, not that this is the purpose, as the boat will be fastest when the centerhull is just airborne, but it will give more safety as also the floats are actually 30 cm longer forward of the centerhull to give more diagonal safety and stabuility.

The outboard engine is installed directly on the transom and must be manually controlled. By the cockpitfloor aft there is a folding hatch with quite a big space for mooringlines and fenders and also extra fueltank if needed.

We are proud of the new Dragonfly 28, which sets new standards for the possibilities of a sailing boat. The perfect boat does not exist – but the Dragonfly 28 is very close to this ideal.

The Dragonfly 28 is a brand new concept line in the Dragonfly range. The boat sets new standards for leisure and flexibiility on the water and on wheels. The Dragonfly 28 has been a lifelong dream of Jens Quorning, who designed and developed this complex boat with his co-designer Steen Olsen. The development took almost 2 years – now the boat is a reality. This boat is the ultimate combination of design and function. This is a 28′ foldable and trailable trimaran, which means that you have all the benefits and features from a trimaran on the water -allowing speeds up to 20+ knots, shallow draft of only 0.4 m and super comfort while sailing, as the boat is hardly heeling. The boat offers five full size comfortable berths of each 2 m, a nice main cabin with excellent view and a very big cockpit for the whole family. On the trailer you can average 45 knots – launch and rig the boat yourself with a set-up time of 30 to 40 minutes.

The Dragonfly trimarans really shines when it comes to usable versatility, sometimes it’s quite fun to see what sailors come up with when playing.

The Dragonfly 28 appeals to both family sailing and racing alike – just hit the cruising speed that makes you all smile. Compared to monohulls, the trimaran is so much more comfortable to sail. Furthermore, you have a much longer range on the water, or you get to your destination in a shorter time.

The boat is easy to sail even for one person – all in all a multifunctional multihul…

The German ‘Die Yacht’ magazine has published their test report of the Dragonfly 28 under the title “The best cruising yacht?”. There is a summary plus a short sailing video.

The Dragonfly 32 comes in a new modern and dynamic design that is going to set new standards in both function and design. The 3D design – combined with a new 7-axis CNC-milling machine process – providing new possibilities.

Quorning Boats take great pleasure in introducing the Dragonfly 32′ which is going to fill the gap between the Dragonfly 28 and Dragonfly 35. This boat is more like a scaled down Dragonfly 35 though, as the Dragonfly 32 is not trailable like the Dragonfly 28. The boat has a nice big cockpit, which offers space enough for the whole crew. All halyards and lines are led to the cockpit for easy and safe handling – perfect also for shorthanded sailing.

The floats are designed even bigger – compared to our previous design – which makes the boat more powerful and fast. It is undoubtedly the fastest boat in our fleet.

The Dragonfly 32 offers fun and safe family sailing – and, has potential for serious racing and safe fast sailing at the same time.

Like the other Dragonfly models, the Dragonfly 32 appears in two versions – one with a shorter rig “Touring” and one in a more powerful version “Supreme” with a taller rig. The Dragonfly 32 is offered standard with a 25 Hp outboard – optional is a 2-cylinder inboard diesel or electric drive. As standard, the boat is equipped with a tiller, but the cockpit has been designed and developed for wheel steering as well.

The boat offers full standing headroom of 1.93 m in the main cabin – 1.87 m in the toilet section.

The interior design layout is similar to the Dragonfly 35 Classic version. The standard version is in maple wood, whereas the high-end luxury teakwood interior is optional.

The main dinette table can seat 6 to 8 people comfortably. The galley is located centrally by the companionway on each side and is a well-functional and convenient pantry providing good ergonomics.

The Dragonfly 35 Offshore and Ocean Cruiser comes in a Touring and Ultimate version. It replaces the Dragonfly 1000 and will better fill the gap between the popular Dragonfly 920 and the Dragonfly 1200. It is the natural next step up from the Dragonfly 920.

The Dragonfly 35 will also be the perfect trimaran for monohull sailors who want to explore the world of trimaran sailing, as this new Dragonfly 35 offers the best volume to performance ratio, based on our latest know how and technology.

The Dragonfly 35 is produced in two models, the Touring and the Ultimate version.

The Touring version is perfect for those who want fast and easy cruising. The Ultimate is for people who wants extra fun and exciting sailing, but the Dragonfly 35 Ultimate is also more challenging and needs earlier reefing. The boat is the same and the difference is in the size of the rig and the sails.

The Dragonfly 35 has full standing headroom of 1.94 m and offers sleeping for full 6 people. Starting forward, you will find a full size enclosed V-berth cabin with lockers for clothing and standing space. Moving aft, there is a full-width toilet section with shower and hanging locker.

The main cabin offers a large, stylish yet functional galley, with double burner stove and oven combined with ample storage lockers, two drawers and a cool-box (optional). The big saloon table sits 8 people for dinner and you sit high, with the good visibility of a deck saloon yacht. Aft in the main cabin on the port side there is a quite large nav-station, which also works well as your home “office” working with your laptop.

Further back under the cockpit there is an aft cabin offering a full size double beth of 2m x 1.5m and headroom.

The cockpit is very spacious and the Dragonfly 35 comes as standard with a tiller, but can also be supplied with optional wheel steering. Clever detailing ensures all the lines are in easy reach and for the helmsman a GRP aft rail makes life unusually comfortable.

All functions are led back to the cockpit for easy handling of the boat.

A 30 Hp inboard diesel engine with sail-drive is located in a separate compartment aft, so the boat is still beachable and can also dry out without damaging the folding propeller. The high volume floats provide stowage for all extra sails and even folding bikes etc. A unique (optional) feature is that you can also stow a full size kayak or surfboard with one-piece mast in the back of the float, making the Dragonfly 35 a really fun boat with lots of toys on board.

To make handling easier the Dragonfly 35 can also be offered with electrical winches, windlass and bow-thruster, plus many other electronics to make sailing easier and more fun.
